Thoughts about moral Print

erkölcs és törvény

When we talk about moral most people think of the norms of social contact. This was not always like this. The Vedas and other saint books interpret the concept of the moral much more broadly, so they placed the concept of the correct living together not onto rules, but to godlike values. So moral is not only the prohibition of sin (ex.: do not steal), but it means also teachings about the cleanness of spiritual life.

The essence of the teachings can be summarized with one single sentence: “Do not ever scandalize anybody with your faith!” Man with liberated conscious always have bigger freedom than man with narrowed sense, respectively everybody is able to be a bit freer in some areas of life than the other people with narrowed faith. Moral teach us that man with freer consciuos should adapt to the others with limited one, and do not want them to act against their faith. What does this mean?

In ancient cultures man knew the destructive effect of desire. The most dangerous were the sexual desires, because man could easily get into the devils’s cobweb if he desired a women he can not get without duality (for example, because she was already married). In certain cultures man defenced against this with serious clothing and behaviour rules. Any kind of sexual intercourse was prohibited in public places (ex.: kiss, even a handshake), and women were obliged to hide their body, to reduce the exagerrated desires of man this way.  Of course liberated man is free from these kind of desires, and he sees the opposite gender maximum in his partner. In this case moral means that despite their liberation they do not scandalize other people living in the same community. They do not get dressed flagrantly, and ignore bodily contact, if they are at that kind of area.

This law, a bit different way, is also applicable in the hungarian areas, although immorality increased very much in our homeland. It is almost impossible to sell a film without desire-rising scenes, and in addition other programs are full of with the work of the demon of temptation. Why are we surprised if so many marriages get ruined when there is so much  temptation around? It is also wonderable, that the christian society is able to live together with these principles, since the ethical level is decreasing continuously since 2000 years. Where is the former faith and where is the respect of God? (and I do not think of the mass here)

The other topic is the nutrition. People with low consciousness eat everything random and unknowingly, like animals. People with a bit more consciousness level advertise boldly the rules of “healthy” nutrition, most of them the vegetarian lifestyle. Liberated people, who know the laws, do not live with such rules, because they know that not the root of the food what makes us healthy but it’s diversity. People like this can live as a vegetarian in his everyday life, but if he gets involved with other people with different faith, he will not deny eating meat. In the final reality man will recognize that animal is such an illusion as human. I am in unity with it, such as with plants, vegetables and fruits. So moral means that a vegetarian will not scandalize man who eats meat, and liberated people will not scandalize the vegetarians. They let everybody do what they believe in what they think good. It is not the kindly advise what scandalizing is, but the fact if I try to force him to act agains his faith. So man who likes alcohol do not try to force it to an anti-alcoholist person, because after a rejected offer he will harm moral values.

According to the above statements we can reveal that every act is immoral which would like to force man to act againt his faith. Liberated man knows that sin does not exist, it is only generated by the limited consciousness (ego). As everything is one, we can conclude that occupancy is an illusion, so stealing as an act is also. Everything belongs to God, if life takes it away from me (by a stealing), it would still belong to God. Liberated man would not steal, because he knows he would scandalize those people who live in the enchantment of the ego. This way he hurts other people and himself also.

What would I like to teach you? I would like to teach you that moral and sin means different things on every other consciousness-levels. If you aim for God, for liberation, you should take it into consideration. It would show if you are free or not, if you are able to adapt to a limited person’s habits and faith. If you are not able to adapt, because it generates conflict, you should consider the teachings about moral. This does not mean to take over other people’s limits, it just means the accommodation in a given situation.

According to the moral teaching you should not bring up the evil in the everyday life if other person’s act is from ignorance, because you would push him into duality. But you should state this to a malignant man, who knows that he acts incorrectly, but he still continues it: “Depart from me Satan”. A constant moral is not the sum of different rules, but the knowledge of the law, and the correct usage of the law in every situation. If you just write and use rules you can get into marsh soon, because rules may change quickly and they can be contradictory to each other, while the moral can not. Rules limit you and drive you into yoke, moral makes you free and raises you.

Moral is the base of a peaceful living-together, where there is no moral, there are churning and insufficiency. In moral there is more responsibility and less attention on a liberated person than a limited person, but this is easy for a person who is free in himself. This way God arranged people into unity.
